She served on the Board of Directors of the Buren State Bank and never turned down opportunity to help someone need, whether with food, money or her time. She loved to laugh, knit, play golf, go to local concerts and spend time with her friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family includes her daughter, Gamble of Lake Fla., and her Klett of Paw Paw; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two nephews, Grove of Traverse City and Grove of Cincinnati.
